The mission of this site is to inform community members about the benefits and basic workings of Day Worker Centers. We hope to help create a new wave of informed citizens who wish to work towards a healthy solution for their community's day-laborer issues.

Each day there are
approximately 118,000 day laborers looking for work. All
across the United
States, in residential towns and big cities alike, day workers,
specifically those who have recently immigrated to the United States,
congregate on street
corners. And while government policy makers struggle to formulate bills to legislate these workers, worker centers are popping up throughout the nation to help deal with the influx of migrant workers.
