Fight The Power

About Us

Fight The Power started in Spring Quarter 2008 at Stanford
University. The site was created as a project for the
Introductory Seminar CS73N "Business on the Information
Highways". The website began as an attempt to test
if Radiohead's "pay-what-you-want" business model
for their album "In Rainbows" could work for other artists.
Fight The Power quickly developed into a much larger
venture that would compete with online behemoths
MySpace and the iTunes Store.

Stanford freshman undergraduate Craig Dabney has
created Fight The Power and written all of the content
on the site except for non-Fight The Power pictures
and cited content.
