Dear Grundy Center High School Students and Parents:
We are excited to be embarking on this 1:1 laptop project in our high school. This is a fantastic opportunity to transform teaching and learning in and out of the classroom. In addition, we look forward to upgrading and enhancing technology and interactive tools in our middle and elementary schools. As we continue to move forward with this endeavor, we want to thank the Grundy Center School Board, students, teachers, parents and community members for its continued support of this initiative. Your support is greatly appreciated as we strive to provide engaging and meaningful learning opportunities for our students. We are confident that this project will assist us in providing our high school students with the tools and skills required to compete in the 21st century world of work and higher education. In addition, we are equally confident that students will take full advantage of the opportunity to foster collaborative skills and project-based learning that is required for the “real world.” We are proud to be taking these first steps into what will be a great opportunity for our teachers and students.
