The Saxons culinary team won a combined total of $409,000 in scholarship money during the 08-09 school year
The Saxon culinary team took first place at the 08-09 state ProStart competition in Portalnd, first place at the 08-09 OCCI Invitational event at Coos Bay, first place at the annual Salem/Keizer Jr. Iron Chef competition, first and sixth place at the 08-09 Oregon Skills USA competition, and 6th place at the ProStart nationals in San Diego.
