Hi! Welcome to Third Grade.  My name is Nicole Jahan.  I was born and raised in Tucson.  After attending CDO High School, I went to Grand Canyon University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.  My minor was in English as a Second Language.  I used my skills over the past three and a half years to teach English to refugees in Turkey.  I returned to Tucson two years ago, and am excited to start my second year teaching at Sonoran Science Academy-Broadway!

I love children’s curiosity and eagerness to learn new things.  I am excited to "Journey through our World."  We will explore new places as we study people from the past and the communities around us.  We will have our hearts opened to the world as we read between the covers of many different and exciting books.  Our math skills will greatly improve and we will experiment with all sorts of science activities. I can’t wait for your children to develop their writing skills, write their own stories, learn to multiply and divide, and create amazing science fair projects!
