Welcome to Ms. Ruden's Art Class!

The goal of the art program at Solon is to introduce students to new ways of making, viewing, and thinking about art. Students will learn about various art techniques, materials, and art history, while also learning about the elements and principles of art. This will help students to discuss their own work and the work of others. Creativity and experimentation will be encouraged as long as the the assignment objectives are being met. It is my hope to instill in my students a lifelong appreciation for the arts and creating with their hands, hearts, and minds.
