Report Cards

Report Cards
Welcome to the Online Report Card feature. Online report cards follow the same guidelines as paper report cards:
• Teachers can see students and subjects that they teachTeachers can see students and subjects that they teach
• Administrators will be able to review the report cards for each studentAdministrators will be able to review the report cards for each student
• Report Cards can be printed for school records.Report Cards can be printed for school records.
• The report card information is secure and password protected
 
There are two ways to enter grades for the report card:
Grade Entry by Student - Enter and Save grades for ALL subjects for one student at a time- Enter and Save grades for ALL subjects for one student at a time
Grade Entry by Class - Enter and Save grades for ONE subject for the entire class roster.- Enter and Save grades for ONE subject for the entire class roster.
 
Important Report Card Legend
A red Check mark - Indicates the Report Card is complete.  All required information has been entered
**** - Indicates that the Report Card is incomplete. Mandatory data has not been entered.
An R - Indicates that the report has been reviewed by the Academic Administrator. You may still make changes to this report card if you need to.
A Lock- Indicates that the Report Card has been locked for editing by the Academic Administrator. You may no longer make changes to this report card
 
Grade Entry by Student
Enter and Save grades for ALL subjects for one student at a time
1. Begin by clicking on the Report Cards module. Next click on the Grade Entry by Student link
2. Report Card - Grade Entry by Student page opens. By default this page is in "Read Only" view.  This means you can't make any changes here. To enter grades for a student, please select the Homeroom Class and the student's name from the dropdown menu.  Click on the EDIT button.
3. Click on the Grade dropdown menus to select grades. Grade legend has been listed on top for your reference. Use the scroll bar to scroll to the bottom of this page to enter additional grades and comments.
4. Keep entering grades using the dropdowns menus. On the bottom of the grade entry page you can enter comments for this student. Enter your own comments in the textbox provided or click on the "Comments" link to choose from pre-defined comments. Next enter the Attendance data for this student, click on the SAVE button once you are done.
5. Once you have clicked on the SAVE button, you will see a message stating that the information has been saved. You will see a red checkmark next to the fields which you have completed on this student's report card. If the entire report card is completed, you will see the red checkmark next to the student's name. 
 
If the report card was reviewed and locked by the administrator you will see a Lock image next to that report card. This indicates that the report card has been locked and you can no longer make any changes to it.
 
To Modify grades, simply change the grade using the dropdown menu and click on Save.
Note:
--You may only enter or view grades for your subjects.
--You may only enter or modify grades for the current marking period.
Other marking periods will be disabled.
 
Grade Entry by Class
1. To enter grades by class, first select the Class from the class dropdown menu. A list of students in this class will show below. For each student you will see either a red checkmark or four asterisks. The checkmark indicates that you have already entered grades for this student for the selected class. The four asterisks indicate that you have not entered grades for this student for the above selected class. To enter grades, click on the Edit button. 
2. On the next page use the Grade dropdown menus to enter grades for each student. Click on the SAVE button once you are done. Repeat the same steps to enter grades for the remaining classes.
 
Report Card View
1. Select the student by selecting the checkbox in the Select column. Click on the Print Report Card button or the View Report card button. Both of these buttons will open the selected report card in PDF window. Preparing the report card for printing may take some time. Please be patient.  Note: You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to print report cards. 
2. Once you have opened the report card in PDF you can use the PDF's print button to print it. Click on the Print icon and the report card will be printed.
