Instructions for scheduling your Parent – Teacher Conference Online

 
To Schedule a conference: Login to SOIN using your login id and password
1. Click on Conferences (on the left side menu)

2. Click Schedule Conferences

3. Click Schedule Sessions

4. Scroll down to see all of your children and their teachers

5. Select the teachers you would like to meet by clicking the circle in the Schedule Conference column and click on Add Sessions button.

If you selected teachers to schedule sessions, you will now see available time slots for your teachers

6. Select your timeslot by clicking on the circle to the left of the time (this might take a second to register and display as green).  You will see the date and time displayed when holding the mouse over a timeslot radio button.  You can scroll to the right to see additional times, and scroll up and down to view additional days, if available.

7. When done scheduling your appointments, click on the SAVE button at the top of the page

You will be brought back to the main Parent Teacher Conference Scheduling page, where the scheduled sessions are now listed. 

8. If you cannot make the conference, please select the “unable to attend” option and enter comments in the space provided. 

9. Click on the Save Unable to Attend button at the top of the page  

10.  You will receive an E-notification through SOIN mail confirming your conference information and a follow-up reminder a few days prior to the conference.

11.  Your conference will also appear in your personal calendar on “My calendar.”  

12.  You can schedule additional conferences by following steps 1-7 outlined above.

 

To Change an existing time:

1.  Login to the site

2.  Click Conferences from the left hand side menu

3.  Click Schedule Conferences

4.  Locate the sessions which you would like to change

5.  Click on Edit

6.  Change the timeslot as needed and SAVE your changes.

7.  The changed appointment will be registered immediately.

 

To View or Print your appointments:

1.  Click Conferences on the left hand side menu bar (to open the Conference module)

2.  Click Reports

3.  Select ALL conferences

4.  Click Submit

5.  A pop up window will open with a PDF file of your scheduled sessions.

6.  Click the printer icon to print your parent teacher conference schedule
