User Type Links

The User Type Links page allows administrators to manage link access for all users of a given type.  To access the ‘User Type Link’ page, click on that link under the User Maintenance item on the left-side menu.  NOTE:  In User Links, you must assign 1 staff member of desired the user type the access you want to give to all users of that type before assigning the links in User Type Links.

 

The Add/Update Link page opens.  Select the desired user type from the dropdown menu.

 

A check in the ‘Selected’ box indicates that all users of this user type have access to this link. A check in the ‘Restricted’ box indicates that at least one user of that user type has been given access to this link, but not ALL users of the type have access.  The numbers in the ‘Sequence’ field represent the order in which the links appear under their respective dropdown menu (lowest to highest).   Make necessary changes by adding or removing the checks and then click on the ‘Save’ button.  

 

NOTE:  If you move the mouse over the restricted check mark, you will see the user shown in a ‘mouse-over’.
