Change Name\ Designation \ Login ID

Change Name \ Designation \ Log-In IDs

The Change Name \ Designation \ Login ID page allows administrators to change the name and\or Login IDs of users.  It also allows admins to change the designation (Mr., Mrs., Ms., etc). 

 

Change Name or Designation

To Change a user’s name or designation, click on the ‘Change Name\Designation’ link found under the User Maintenance item on the left-side menu.

 

When the page opens, select the Change Name / Designation radio button and the user type radio button and then enter the name in the ‘Search By Last Name’ field.   Click on the ‘Go’ button.
 
Select the user from the list by placing a check in the select box.  Then make necessary changes:  select a salutation from the dropdown menu, edit the first and or last name and then click on the ‘Update’ button.
 
Be sure to click on the ‘Update’ button when complete.

 

Change Log-In IDs

Schools can now changes user’s Login IDs on the Change Name / Designation /Login ID page.  To Change a user’s login ID, select the Login ID: radio button.  Enter the desired user name in the "Search By Last Name" field.  Click on ‘Go’.
 
Enter the new log-in ID for the desired user.  Select the check box for the user or users, and then click on the Update button.
 

You should then see the message Login Ids Changed Successfully at the top of the page. In addition, the new Login ID is displayed for that user.
