Parent Teacher Conference - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ, FAQs)
 
For assistance with the Parent Teacher Conference Scheduler, please refer to these common questions and instructions.
 
Q1. How do I make appointments? --Ensure you are logged in as a parent.
Student accounts do not have a Conference link.
Teacher accounts do not have a schedule conference link to make appointments.
Does it say "Welcome Mr. Yourname!"?  That is your Parent Welcome Page.
--From the Parent Welcome page
--Click the Conferences link on the left hand side (click once to open the module)
--Click Schedule Conference
--Click Schedule Sessions
--Click in the circle next to the teachers' names
--Click Add Sessions
--Select appointments by clicking the circle to the left of the time
--Click Save Sessions
 
Q2. I clicked on SAVE and it told me the timeslot was already taken.
There are many parents logging in to the system at the same time.
It's possible that more than one parent will click SAVE for the same timeslot at the same time.
The person who clicks save first will win the timeslot.
 
Q3. I clicked on Schedule Conferences, but nothing happened.
This is a classic sign of having a pop up blocker issue.
--Ensure that pop ups are allowed on this website.
OR
--Hold down the CTRL key when you click on Schedule Conferences to bypass any popup blockers.
You should get to the screen with the Schedule Conferences button
 
Q4. I see a teacher who is not my child's  -or-.
Q5. I am missing one of my child’s teachers.
--You are connected with teachers through your child’s classes. --So if you see the wrong teacher that means that the child is listed in the wrong class. Please contact your school.
 
Q6. I don't see the Conferences link.
--Ensure that you are starting from the PARENT welcome page.
--Can you see the My Homepage link, and under that the My Links, and then towards the bottom of that list, should be the Conferences link.
 
Q7. I scheduled sessions - how do I go back and see them?
Q8. How do I print out my schedule?
--To view scheduled sessions
    - Click Conferences, then Schedule Conferences.
    Saved appointments will appear here.
--To print scheduled sessions
    - Click Conferences, then Reports.
    Click Submit or Next to generate a PDF (printer friendly version) of the scheduled sessions.
 
Q9. I scheduled a session but now I'd like to change it.
--From the parent Welcome page
--Click Conferences
--Click Schedule Conferences
--Scroll to the right, click on the icon for EDIT
--Make changes as needed
--Save the new session
 
Q10. I scheduled a session but now I'd like to delete it.
--From the parent Welcome page
--Click Conferences
--Click Schedule Conferences
--Scroll to the right, click on the icon for DELETE
--Click OK to confirm deletion
