What is JavaFX?JavaFX is a family of products and technologies from Sun Microsystems, first announced at the JavaOne developers conference in May 2007. The JavaFX products are intended to be used to create Rich Internet applications (RIAs). Currently JavaFX consists of JavaFX Script and JavaFX Mobile (an OS for mobile devices), although further JavaFX products are planned. JavaFX is anticipated to compete in the space already occupied by Adobe AIR and Microsoft's Silverlight technologies.
