Please bring in a family picture (or pictures) for Spanish class. We will be practicing family member names in Spanish (mother-madre, father-padre, etc.) Thank you to all of you who got that Spanish homework right back. It is habits like those that will make the transition into first grade so much easier.
Monday Draw a picture of something that begins with the sound of H.
Tuesday Tumbling with Mrs. Sara. Cut out a picture of something that begins with the sound of H.
Wednesday Keep practicing alphabet flashcards with your child. If your child is having difficulty, start with only the letters we have covered (Aa, Bb, Dd, Ff, Gg) and build on as your child becomes proficient. It is really important that they keep up. The goal still is to know all the names and sounds of the letters by the end of the first quarter.
Thursday Hat Day! Wear your favorite hat. We'll share and compare. Mt. Sterling Fire Department will be bringing the Stay Alive House for students to practice fire safety skills. Tumbling with Mrs. Sara. We'll be going to the Nursing Home with 7th and 8th grade to play bingo. Kind of a busy day!
