HOMEWORK
Letter: V, v
Theme Book: The Important Book
Rhyme-a-Week: I Saw a Ship A-Sailing (ack)
Bible Story: Zacchaeus
On Friday morning we will be having a Tea Party/Talent Show. Each child should be prepared to share some type of talent. This may include singing, dancing, magic trick, joke, etc. Please write here what type of performance your child is preparing to do:
Monday Draw a picture of something that begins with the sound of V. About half of the class has memorized their phone numbers. Great Job!! We are working for 100% of the students knowing this, so keep on practicing if you need more time.
Tuesday Cut out a picture of something that begins with the sound of V. Each child should know their birthday and age. Almost all of us have mastered this.
Wednesday 11:30 Dismiss. Keep working on counting to 100 (or 200, etc.). We are working for 100% of the students being able to do this by the 100th day of school.
Thursday We will be writing words that end in -ack. Each word will be written on a flower petal and added to our bulletin board in the hall titled "It might be cold outside, but inside we are growing a Kider-garden of rimes."
Friday Mass. We'll practice our good manners as we sip our tea and take turns watching and performing our talents. Remember to send in music or any props your child will need. |
