Religion Theme: Easter Read in the Park Day is May 6th- This will be a wonderful day spent with 82 other kindergarten students from Quincy Catholic schools. During the morning students will rotate through 4 stations, each focusing on a book and activity centered around this year's theme "Catch the Reading Bug." For the requested $5 donation, lunch, a book and t-shirt will be provided. After lunch the students will participate in crafts and games. We will need a parent or two to help with the day's activities. Monday No school.
Tuesday Last Magazine turn in day. Today we will play bingo with some of our high frequency (popcorn) words. When the game sheet comes home, make sure your child knows all the words.
Wednesday Art with Mrs. Jochem. We'll be taking a look at the life cycle of a butterfly this week. Vocabulary will include: adult, lava, pupa, chrysalis, life cycle
Thursday In writing we are working on including lots of juicy details. Help your child look for signs of spring. Have them draw a picture showing some of those signs. As he/she draws, discuss the juicy details they have included. |
