Math Homework will be sent home most days in the homework folder. If this is not written homework, please just take the page out of the notebook and complete. There is no need to return, as this is only for practice that will benefit your child. |
Monday 11:00 Dismiss. There are no dismissal buses. Teachers need to attend a diocesan meeting in Quincy. Grace is the leader. Make or buy alphabet flash cards and practice them everyday. Start out learning the names of the letters and then begin adding the sounds.
Tuesday We will be reading fun books and factual books about bears this week. Will is the leader today. A new calendar has been added to the notebook to record the days you read with your child. If you meet the goal of 4 nights each week, your child will choose from the treasure box at the end of the month. When Book It! begins in October, students will earn a certificate for a personal pan pizza.
Wednesday We will be practicing making B,b this week with straight lines and forward circles. Upper case B is done in 2 strokes and lower case with just one stroke. Baylor is the leader today.
Thursday Teddy Bear Day! Bring a bear to share and compare.
Friday We will go to Mass today with our 7th and 8th grade buddies. Bring sharing in a bag-something that begins with the sound of B. Be prepared to give three clues about your sharing and we'll try to guess what you brought
