Most of your clients don't realize that their coffee breaks and the resulting nutritional imbalances are the cause of their afternoon headaches; Or that dancing all night in high heels can create a painful postural imbalance; Or that their divorce ten years ago and the resultant stored anger is the true cause of their chronic neck pain. When clients present chronic pain syndromes it becomes vital for the massage therapist to create both trust and integrity through precise evaluation of the source of the muscular tension. This creates a "language of care" so that massage therapists can more effectively communicate both their skill and concern through their assessment of the body's language. This diploma A class teaches the massage therapist how to evaluate the four underlying causes of chronic pain syndromes and then how to treat them accordingly. These four causes include postural imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, physical scars from surgeries or accidents, and the holding onto of negative emotions that result in chronic muscular tension. With their newly learned assessment skills, massage therapists can safely and easily navigate their client into more rapid and efficacious healing. Probably the most sophisticated course for massage therapists in the United States today, this course is strongly recommended for beginners or for working professionals. 24 CEUs $480 |
