All of the courses offered at smsc collectively make up the constituents of the 500-hour diploma program, although each course can be taken individually for those who do not wish to register for the long-term program. Some of our students sign up for individual classes for personal growth or to expand their experience as a professional bodyworker. Both pre-registering for the diploma and taking individual classes with a short-term commitment can result in a diploma if all required courses are completed successfully. However, the courses are less expensive when a student is registered for the long-term diploma program. 

For those students who desire a diploma from our school but who have hours already completed from another institution, courses can be taken non-sequentially or even bypassed with official transcripts and proof of courses completed. Official transcripts must be presented in addition to being able to pass the final in order to get credit for each course. In this way, students are able to develop their own curriculum, so long as they meet the school's requirements for completion.
