We are always looking for students, staff, or faculty who want to help with planning or volunteer at the events. Here are some ways that you can get involved:
Students:
- Enroll in the Envs 181 Course! No Tests/Quizzes! You can enroll for 1, 2, or 3 units. ERC students work as a team on active projects that aim to create positive change on campus; projects include the planning of Earth Day and Sustainability Week.
- Help plan an event with your student organization
- Join the Sustainability Week Planning Committee
- Volunteer to help with the fair trade sales
- Volunteer to help at events
- Tell your friends about how awesome Sustainability Week is!
- Add us on your facebook! "SJSU Environmental Resource Center"
Faculty:
- Join the Sustainability Week Planning Committee
- Offer your students extra credit for attending one or more Sustainability Week events
- Bring your class to a speaker event, panel discussion, or movie
- Volunteer to plan an event related to your area of expertise
- Volunteer to speak on a panel
- Ask your department to sponsor or endorse Sustainability Week
- Integrate your course with related projects or assignments
- Display related student projects during Sustainability Week or at Earth Day
Staff:
