FFF IV Kicked off in Vero on Nov. 14th
As usual the folks at IRMYC hosted a great regatta. Thanks for hosting in the series on short notice. Great weather, good wind and lots of interested Footy skippers looking to have fun and test the fruits of their labor and passion with these addictive little boats they call footy.
16 entries showed up for the regatta. A really close race with a lot of close scores. Unlike some of our earlier regattas where at least 50% of the boats would not finish due to breaking down, 15 out of 16 boats finished all the races. The boats are getting faster and the skippers are managing the boats better. Some tough competition today with a lot of determined skippers.
Initially there were a couple of mistakes in the score tallies.
I found these while creating a spreadsheet in order to publish the info to the website.
Revised edition of the scores are listed below. I attached a copy of that Excel spreadsheet to the bottom of this page in Excel and PDF files

Great job George and good luck with the next three races in the series.
Finishing boats consisted of Shark 1st, Shark 2nd, Shark 3rd and Shark 4th.

We are waiting on Frank Thorley to come up with a date for the December event in Sebring.
The January event will be held in Orlando by the Sunday Sloopers.
The final event will take place at the Chain of Lakes in Titusville in February hosted by SPMSC.
This should prep us for the Footy Nationals on March 13th and 14th in Orlando.
