Pace / Equipment Overnight bags sent up separately so it will be possible to complete the weekend with lightweight kit. Pace will be steady – not a potter but not a thrash.

In Hay right by Blue Boar pub, first left (s/p Hereford and Leominster) and descend to Granary Café Hay on Wye for lunch - B4350 – Glasbury – B4350 - just before re-crossing the Wye take right along cycle route thro’ Boughrood – B4567. Follow signs to Builth Wells centre across bridge over River Wye. In centre take right at T junction along High Street and West Street and then left up Hospital Road to Tyn-y-graig – Llangammach Wells. Meet at ‘Moto’ Severn View Service Station, Aust. Leave 7.10 am. (Services open 7.00 am). As Dr Hocter’s route to Builth Wells - A470 – Rhayader – lunch the Strand Restaurant, East Street (80 Miles) Now for the hard part across the Drovers’ roads into the most remote part of Wales:– West Street – mountain road to Cwmystwyth – Tregaron – Abergwesyn – Llanwrtyd Wells (125 Miles) Bike Router Toaster
Route Sunday 19 April
We all come together for an easy ride home via Brecon – B4558 – left at traffic lights (s/p Crickhowell), right at A40 thro’ Crickhowell – left up Greenhill Way (s/p Lanbedr, Llangenny) – after 4 miles take right fork (s/p Florest / Abergavenny). Right at next junction (s/p Abergavenny), right at T junction with ‘cycle route 42.‘ Take left in Abergavenny and follow A40 round to the Angel Hotel where A40 turns left.Go right to lunch at Mad Hatters, Cross Street (43 miles).
