Checking Out Books

Students are allowed to checkout three items at a time.

Book checkouts are for 3 weeks.

Fines

• The library charges 10 cents per school day for overdue books and 25 cents per day for overdue encyclopedias.
• Missing books and magazines will be charged a replacement cost of $10.00 per paperback and $20.00 for a hardback book.
• Reference book replacement will be assessed at current rates.
• Fine notices are sent out regularly through the Language Arts teachers.
• If a student can't find a book, it would be helpful if they would report it lost, so that late fees can stop accruing.
• If you or your student would like to be sent email reminders when Middle School library books are due or overdue, please contact Ms. Nazareth.
