My planning time this year is at mid-day. Therefore, I will not be able to gather any homework assignments for students who are absent until the afternoon.

Grades are posted on line for your viewing. They are updated daily. Please view these as often as possible to see if there are any missing assignments.

All students are required to download the weekly schedule and place it in their binder for Monday morning. If there is a problem doing so, please send a note to me. For the first couple of weeks, there will be variations in the schedule until I judge the pace of the class and all the interruptions that normally occur during this time have ended. Students should use the space on the assignment page to make notes if a change in the schedule happens. As the year progresses, a change in the weekly  schedule is less likely to occur, but it does occasionally happen.

The yearly, district and Heritage School calendar is found under the attachment listed below. I will update this as I receive new information.

If you are planning on volunteering for any class activity this year (Toronto, after school trips, etc.) please don't forget to complete the Parent Volunteer form that was sent home several weeks ago. This is required by the district, and you will not be able to accompany the class on any activity unless this form is completed and turned into the office.


Please read the message about accepting late assignments on my main page. This procedural change began Monday, November 30.

Students will begin using laptops in the classroom beginning this week. Please sign and return the form that was sent home this past Friday as soon as possible.
