Welcome

2019 - 2020

This is my 12th year at Salem and my 15th year teaching high school math. With each year that passes I am even more encouraged that this is the place I am supposed to be. I look forward to a fantastic year with my students and their families!

I grew up in the Roanoke area and have lived here for most of my life. I graduated from James Madison University in 2006 where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education. I began my teaching career in Richmond schools while my husband completed his Master's Degree at Baptist Theological Seminary. In 2012 we began growing our family through adoption. We are now a happy family of 7!!
