Problem of the Week
for Tuesday, January 29, 2013
It is possible to arrange 4 points on a page so that three different quadrilaterals can be drawn that have those 4 points as vertices. Find an arrangement of 5 points that maximizes the number of pentagons that can be drawn having those 5 points as vertices. Draw all the possible pentagons containing those 5 points as vertices. How many different pentagons can you draw?
