Engineers of Tomorrow (EOT) is an outreach project of the Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Aerospace Academy at Tennessee State University. EOT's mission is to provide secondary school students in Middle Tennessee with unique opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

We do this through forming collaborations among professionals, experts, educators, parents, and students that will not only provide access to opportunity, but ignite desire and motivation to pursue dreams.

These are the outcomes our community can expect from believing in Engineers of Tomorrow:

  • A team that brings together students of diverse ability, background, and aptitudes, and unites them in a common goal;

  • More students interested, understanding, and prepared for the pursuit of degrees in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics;

  • More teachers encouraged to provide challenging hands-on, world related activities in their classrooms;

  • More parents actively involved in the process of nurturing their children's efforts to go beyond what they see;

  • More professionals, experts, and university faculty encouraged to work side-by-side in mentoring and building relationships with students; and

  • A safe and exciting place for middle and high school students to learn and do those things that bring science, teachnology, engineering, and math to life.
