Fallbrook, CA - Robert J. Hamilton, who ran unopposed for the Democratic nomination in the 49th Congressional District for the U.S. House of Representatives, today congratulated his fellow nominees on winning the Democratic nominations for Congress, including  Nick Leibham, 50th CD, incumbent Bob Filner in the 51st CD, Mike Lumpkin, 52nd CD and incumbent Susan Davis, representing the 53rd  Congressional District.

“The Democratic Party in San Diego and Riverside Counties has a strong and unified slate of candidates for the general election in November, and I look forward to an equally strong and vigorous campaign to unseat my opponent Darrell Issa, who continues to demonstrate his support of the Bush administration’s failed policies in our district”, said Hamilton.
