RGV RSEF 2010 Program of Fair Events

March 6:  Judging from 8AM to 3PM (UTB/TSC Garza Gymnasium for Senior Division and ITECC for Junior Division)

Public Campus Tours and Presentations 11AM to 2:30 PM at both campus locations--Mall at ITEC Center (old Amigoland Mall) and Garza Gymnasium on the Fort Brown Campus at 80 Fort Brown

Public Viewing from approximately 2:30-4:00 PM (at the judging locations above) or as soon as judging is completed

Awards Ceremonies from 4:00-5:30 PM--Senior Division at Jacob Brown Auditorium and Junior Division in the ITECC main courtyard

 

Information for Sponsors and Volunteers: 

March 5th: Registration for Middle School and for High School at UTB/TSC sites from 1-6:30 PM  

Remember to bring ORIGINAL ISEF paperwork with a copy of your registration and payment information.  You also need original Media Release (click here) Forms.

NO STUDENTS MAY REGISTER ON MARCH 6th because of the need to have display and safety and paperwork cleared on March 5th by the SRC and Display and Safety committees.

March 6th: Students must be at Projects by 8:30 AM at the competition locations.

Students will be dismissed by Project categories  around lunch time (lunch can be on own or pre-purchased through the UTB U-mix--click here)

The Rio Grande Valley Regional Science and Engineering Fair hopes to encourage our future scientists through meaningful research experiences. 

 Pictured below is Lia Garza, the RGV RSEF Grand Champion with Dr. Immannuel Edinbarough, Dr. Charles Dameron, and Dr. Greg Garcia at the Awards Ceremony on March 7, 2009.  She went on to compete at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Reno, Nevada in May 2009 and received a scholarship offer as part of her recognition.
