How to protect our REPS students from Swine Flu A(H1N1)
Please be informed that the school is clear of the “H1N1 ‘swine flu’ virus”

In view of the prevalence of the disease in this region we will continue to advise that
- If your children show any flu symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue then you should keep them at home until they have been symptom-free for 24 hours.
- We have stepped up again the cleaning and disinfecting regime of all surfaces such as desk, chair, computer set toys even though doorknob will be cleaned with disinfectant including all the items have been always touched.
- Soaps and disinfectant are available in the school restrooms.
- The advice of the health authorities has been explained to all the children.
- We have face masks available in the front office.
- The premises have been thoroughly disinfected.
- We will continue to monitor the situation carefully.
Take these everyday steps to protect your health, and encourage the children to do the same:
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
- Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
