Curriculum

The English Program Curriculum follows the guidelines set out by the Thai Ministry of Education.
 
The students are instructed in English by native speakers for the following subjects: English Language, Science, Mathematics, Health and Physical Education (P.E.). Other subjects including Art and Music are taught in English as Extra Curricular Activities. The rest of the curriculum is taught in Thai as in a normal Thai school.

1. The Bilingual Program (Thai-English program) based on the Thai National Education B.E. 2544

2. At the Kindergarten level, not more than 50% of the total activities can be taught in English.

3. For the Primary and Mathayom levels, English is used to teach English Language, Maths, Science, Physical Education,      
     International Music and Geography.

4. REPS provides a superior education taught by qualified and experienced native English speakers and Thai teachers.

5. Class sizes are limited to a maximum of 25-30 students in each class.

Sport, Art, Drama, Music and other special interests
  
Sport, the performing arts and a wide range of other interests and activities are promoted strongly at REPS. Activities organized on a regular basis give students a chance to broaden their horizons with new experiences.  Competitions, exchanges and social functions with other schools in the region are also an integral part of the school year.


BILINGUAL MISSION
  • Students are able to use both English and Thai equally and we empower students to use either language comfortably and effectively.
  • Students are positive about using English and we encourage them to have self-confidence e.g. to speak up and demonstrate their use of English.
  • Students learn about and compare Thai and Western culture.
  • Students are able to take their place in the global village through strong international understanding while retaining their wonderful Thai heritage.
  • Students are able to enter secondary education, at Thai, Bilingual, International or Overseas Institutions through the use of additional teaching materials from abroad.
