Johannesburg members attended the first regular Dauntless Joburg Meetup, on the 31st of June 2008.

The Meetup was held at the home of CAPT Owen Swart and LTJG Heidi Hertz. The crew watched the fantasy film 'Ladyhawke' and then wrote the STARFLEET Academy exam based on the film.

This event was intended to be the first in a series of regular events providing an opportunity for Dauntless members to meet in person and enjoy Trek fandom together.
