Position: Second Officer / Chief of Operations (USS Dauntless) / Regional Relay Officer (Region 8)
Bio:After returning from the mirror universe where he saw how he could have turned out if a few more breaks had gone his way, Jim decided to reform and begin to live for the sake of the galaxy, and the tearing down of oppressive dictatorial governments. First dismantling his own oppressive dictatorial government, he auctioned off his planet to the highest bidder, donated the proceeds to charitable Ferengis, and joined Starfleet.
His rise to fame has been something of an oddity amongst the other cadets who graduated in his class, but this is generally written off to jealousy.
Location: LCDR Nave currently resides with his family on Deep Space Swazi 1 in Region 8 where he functions as Starfleet liaison. Through the use of long range holographic technology, LCDR Nave is also able to be an active crew-member and officer of the USS Dauntless.
Personal: His acting career being very important to him, when not busy hiding and implementing hidden sub-routines in the Dauntless main computer, he spends most of his time in sickbay with Nurse Nave playing doctor.
Deep Space Swazi 1 (DS-S1):
Deep Space Swazi 1 is a cooperative Starfleet/Swazi ran space station in Region 8. On September 6, 1968 Swaziland
peacefully gained it's independence from Britain as a sovereign nation with King Sobhuza II taking full control of the government. Formerly known as, "Endlini
Yengwe" (the Home of the Leopard), the space station was commissioned in 1998 as part of the 30 years of independence celebration. Designed along the lines of the famous K7, it was hoped that the space station would help bring much needed toursism and revenue to the sector.
In 2005, as a sign of bilateral cooperation, Starfleet was asked for assistance in maintaining DS-S1 and to help prepare the Swazis for entrance into the Federation. PO3 Nave applied for the position and in late 2005, was approved. He and his family moved to Region 8 shortly afterwards and then onto DS-S1 at the end of 2006.
