In the OnlineTesting system, you can create as many sub-accounts as you would like. You may want to create sub-accounts for plants, locations, or groups of examinees. Simply put, you can use sub-accounts to help organize a group of examinees and administrators.
Who can work in sub-accounts?Only account administrators have the ability to create, manage, and work in sub-accounts. Test administrators and proctors can only work within their own account and cannot access sub-accounts. Refer to the table of user permissions for more information.In addition, sub-accounts allow for organization of users. In the diagram below, the account administrator in ABC Company has created two sub-accounts Plant #1 and Plant #2. The ABC Company account administrator can perform work (assign tests, view results, etc) within ABC Company, Plant #1, and Plant #2. ![]() Administrators in Plant #1 or Plant #2 can only perform work in their respective accounts. For example, the Plant #1 administrator can not perform work in Plant #2 or in ABC Company. But they can perform work and access Plant #1. Simply put, sub-accounts do not have access to their parent account or siblings. They can only access their information. Accessing sub-accountsYou can switch between sub-accounts in any of the Administration pages by clicking on the name of the sub-account.All operations that you can perform in a regular account can be performed in a sub-account including assigning tests, viewing assignments, viewing results, and managing administrators. In order to perform these operations in a sub-account, simply select the sub-account from the account hierarchy and perform your task as usual.
