Creating Additional Administrators and Proctors

Creating Additional Administrators/Proctors

As an Administrator you have the ability to create additional administrators and proctors to help simplify the testing process.
You have the ability to create as many new users in the system as you would like.

Step 1 - Go to the Manage Administrators page

First you will need to access the administrator management page.  You can access this page by clicking the Manage Administrators link on the left side menu.

Step 2: Click the Create New Administrator button

Now you should be on the Administrator Management page and a list of Administrators in the selected account will be shown below.  If you are an account administrator, you can move between sub-accounts to add an administrator to a specific sub-account.
Click the Create New Administrator button.

Step 3: Enter the new administrator's information

After clicking Create New Administrator a box will pop up allowing you to enter the new administrator's information.  Enter their information (the more information provided the better).  You can select what type of role this user will have in the drop down box.  Refer to the user permissions table for more information on the specific permissions of each user type.

Step 5: Verify they are now an administrator and notify the administrator of their login information and role

Finally, verify that the new administrator is displayed in the list of administrators.  You should also notify the administrator of their role in the system and provide them with the login credentials shown in the listing.
The first time the administrator logs into the system they will be required to change their password.  At this time, the password will then be displayed as 'User Defined'.
