Whispering Wind PTA is sending home flyers offereing new designs of T-shirts (both short and longsleeved) and sweatshirts (with and without hoods). The prices range from $8.00 to $16.00! At this price you are getting quite a deal. Keep and eye out for the flyer coming home on Friday.

The next activity is Dinner night at Chick-fil-a on November 3rd. In addition to donations from food
purchases, there will be a few silly games that your teachers will be taking part in. See you all there! |

Whispering Wind Academy PTA is sponsoring a fun family night. They will be showing the movie "Nim's Island" and providing the opportunity to order dinner from The Islands restaurant, or you may pack your own picnic dinner. Raffle baskets put together by each grade level will be on display. $1 buys you chance to win these wonderful baskets.

The Arizona Science Center and the Arizona Diamondbacks are working together to provide a science experience for
the students of Whispering Wind. Students will go to Chase Field on September 26, and all must bring a sack lunch on that day. This trip and the information provided fit beautifully into the 5th Grade science curriculum and the STEMG2 focus of our school. |

Tuesday, September 9, 4:00 - 9:30p.m. is dinner night out at Islands Restaurant, near PV Mall. Your child will be bringing home a flier with the details this week. Bring the flier with you to help donate 20% of the profit from dinner back to our school!
