Math: Khan Academy has updated its site. Log into Khan, go to Courses, and choose a Get Ready Course that works for you. If you are coming into 4th, I suggest choosing Get Ready for 5th grade as a review, or go into Get Ready for 6th grade if you feel ready. For my students going into 5th grade, I recommend Get Ready for 6th grade to review, or go into Get Ready for 7th grade if you feel ready. You may choose more than one Get Ready - find one that works for you!

Hi there! I am very excited to be your child’s 4th grade SC teacher! We will have an exciting year studying many different topics, including During the year, I will help your child apply strategies to maintain organization, manage time, promote study skills, and take greater responsibility for learning at school and at home.

To help your child be successful, I will communicate with you in many ways. I will inform you of your child’s progress through the on-line grade book, emails, text messaging, notes on papers sent home, the online assignment calendar, and pvlearners. I welcome your input and will check email often!

There's a lot of information on our website. As a parent, the two most important sections are the Class Calendar and Homework/Study Guide sections. This will help you support your child as they learn to self manage their classwork.

Students will be directed to use Google Classroom on a daily basis for assignments, resources, and additional information. This website provides information that parents and students can use. Please know that Google Classroom will be our main focus for academics.
