This is a bee collecting the pollen from a plum tree. The bee spent twenty minutes on the tree collecting pollen then the bee flew to another flower.

Relevance
This bee was on the plum tree that I planted with my father and have taken care of all of my life. This photo was taken at my house in Whitefield. The bee can fly to another plum tree and pollenate that tree. That's how trees and flowers are pollenated. This can lead to the trees growth and reproduction and how it survives year to year.

It was a wonderful day and it reminded me of spring in my hometown.
