Scientific Research My question when I took this picture was, “Why do Dandelions grow so close together?” What I thought was that when the wind blows it moves the pollen to one specific spot and that is where the next dandelion grows. This process goes on and on and that is why they grow so close together. They are made to grow in groups of 3-10 at a time. There are so many dandelions because their birth rate is so rapid and consistent. But as one dies more are born. They die because they have such a short life span. They die so easily because they are not as strong as other plants srength against the different types of weather. Relevance The world only goes on because all we do is repopulate and make newer inventions, foods, buildings, ect. This is exactly what plants do. They repopulate. But they do it faster and they have 3-10 "babies" at a time, as on the other hand we have on average 1-2 "babies" a time. As one dies more are born, there LIFECYCLE is basically keeps danelions living. We also have a very important lifecycle but theres is much much much faster!! |
