Scientific Research
This picture was taken of the Monterey Bay in Northern California. It is Showing how a water system can be the source of nutrients for the plants that grow on the rocks that are facing the camera. In the picture, it is pretty clear how clean the water appears. This appears this way because these waters were very clean. This photo was taken right outside the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which features animals that only appear in this tiny cove. Obviously, they want to keep their waters clean because if they didn't, there would be no animals in the aquarium.

Relevance
This water shows our science studies because it relates back to biomes and ecology. This water is home to many creatures,like the one featured in my other picture. All the organisms in this cove rely on eachother and the water to keep them alive.

Other Comments
I liked and chose this photograph because I liked how it not only showed the beauty of the bay but also the elements in the clouds. This picturewas taken on a gorgeous day and you can see humans out enjoying the sun in their sailboat in the background. Before this picture was snapped, there had been otters floating around in the cove but unfortunately, I did not catch them on tape.
