Dear Parents, Your son/daughter desires to be on the scholastic team. Below you will find a list of expectations, and the practice times; on another page is a tentative schedule. In the past, we have been able to take everyone on the team who wishes; however, this could change if the numbers go much higher. Within a few weeks the students will know if cuts have to be made. A question mark indicates the event or the date is not confirmed. Please review the schedule for your reference. The permission packet needs to be filled out and returned. Give special attention to the permission to travel page. I will always try to have a school van, but if you wish to allow your child to drive to local events you must indicate that on the appropriate page*. T TH , ASSEMBLIES, TESTING, ETC REPORT TO HOMEROOM PRACTICE BEGINS FRI 9/05/08 AND ENDS AFTER OUR LAST COMPETITION IN MARCH. 1. Be on time, or have a pass if you are not coming on a day that I am expecting you. 2. For special assemblies, etc. – attend regular homeroom. 3. Be quiet when questions are being read and answered; confer only during bonuses 4. Purchase a scholastic team shirt (about $20) – which can be used all 4 years. 5. Be available to attend the scheduled Saturday competitions. 6. Attend morning mass with the team on days designated. 7. Take turns putting away and setting up for practices. 8. Sit in assigned seat, participate in team prayer. 9. Build each other up, don’t cut each other down. 10. Fill out the permission form and have your parents sign it. 11. Attend the awards banquet at the end of the year. 12. Display the type of behavior at competitions that causes other coaches to compliment PND. 13.
