Re-organize the Navigation Sidebar

You can re-order the links in the Navigation Sidebar. You can also add and remove links. Here's how.

Go to the Navigation Sidebar's Edit Screen

  1. At the bottom of the left sidebar is an Edit Sidebar link. Click it.
  2. Click "edit" next to "Navigation" in the wire-frame view of your site.
  3. Then:

Move a link up or down

  1. After going to the Navigation Sidebar's Edit screen:
  2. Click the name of the page to move up or down in the list of links.
  3. Use the Up and Down arrows at the right.
  4. Repeat for any other pages.
  5. Click Ok.
  6. When done with all Sidebar changes, click Save Changes at top-right.
  7. To return to your site click Return to site at top-left.

Add Page to Navigation Sidebar

Elsewhere on this help site is a description of how to add a page to the navigation sidebar while on that page. Here is an alternate method:
  1. After going to the Navigation Sidebar's Edit screen:
  2. Click the link to "Add page to sidebar navigation" at the bottom of the window.
  3. Select the page from your site that you want to add. (Note, you cannot create new pages from here, the page must already exist).
  4. Click Ok.
  5. Click Ok again.
  6. When done with all Sidebar changes, click Save Changes at top-right.
  7. To return to your site click Return to site at top-left.

Remove a link

Removing a link from the Navigation Sidebar does not delete the page. The page will still appear in your site's Sitemap.
  1. After going to the Navigation Sidebar's Edit screen:
  2. Click the name of the page to delete.
  3. Use the X button at the right to remove that page from the Navigation Sidebar.
  4. Repeat for any other pages.
  5. Click Ok.
  6. When done with all Sidebar changes, click Save Changes at top-right.
  7. To return to your site click Return to site at top-left.
