SCHALICK HIGH SCHOOL MARCHING BAND

The Schalick Marching Band is a long existing student centered organization. The band is conducted by student drum majors and assisted by several student leaders and officers. Each year the Band participates in Cavalcades where we meet and compete with other high school bands. Every other year, the band travels. Destinations include performing in San Diego and Cozumel, Mexico. The band is supported by Band Boosters, a parent group that offers many fund raising opportunities to raise money for trips as well as many other needs of the band. A little known fact is that the Band is the sponsor for Homecoming each year. This year the band will once again be a participant in the St. Patrick's Parade in Baltimore, MD in a combined "super band" with the other schools in Salem County. Thanks to our booster group, this trip is free to all members who continue to be active in the band throughout the school year.
