ALONG WITH PACKET,

PLEASE SUBMIT CASH OR CHECK MADE OUT TO "SCHALICK BAND" IN THE AMOUNT OF $10 FOR AUDITION FEE

The band teachers of South Jersey volunteer their time for auditions, we ask that students are prepared by following the requirements listed below.

REQUIREMENTS: For students being endorsed by Schalick and sponsored by Mr. Pieczara or his designate.

Students must be a student of Schalick High School

Students must be enrolled in a Schalick High School performing ensemble. This rule is in accordance with SJBODA ByLaw ARTICLE X - Student Eligibility and Participation Section 1-A - "A student must be a faithful member of the corresponding New Jersey school musical performing organization, and must receive the endorsement of the director of that group or his approved designate.  The student must remain an active member in good standing of the school performing group throughout the term of the membership in the Association’s performing organization."

Students must be currently studying with a private teacher on the instrument auditioning.

Students must acquire the audition solo at least three months prior to auditions.

Students must be approved by Mr. Pieczara through a mock audition before applications are signed and mailed and approved by the High School Principal. (application due date will be announced by Mr. Pieczara, DO NOT GO BY DATE ON APPLICATION, extra time is needed to obtain principal approval).
