For Grade 10

The sophomore year should be a year of personal growth. In addition to working hard in school and being involved in a variety of activities, sophomores need to try to identify their personal abilities, aptitudes, and interests. They should be looking for ways to further develop their talents and skills.

Your counselor will:
  • Continue to monitor academic progress
  • Continue to encourage you to be involved in activities and to develop leadership skills.
  • Consider taking the PSAT.
  • Start to explore and discuss the college search.
  • Select appropriate courses for grade 11.
