The Executive secretary has reiterated that the Philippines insists on its historical and legal rights over North Borneo claiming it is to the national interest of the Philippines that it protect and safeguard such historical and legal rights. proscribing any act or statement, expressing or implying, directly or indirectly, forsaking Philippine title and historical and legal rights or recognizing foreign sovereignty over Sabah.
