Documents Needed For Registration: 
 

In order for you to enroll your child in Bowie High School, it will be necessary for you to bring with you the items listed below.  If you are missing ANY item, we cannot register your child.  (For the Home Schooled students you must contact the Home Instruction Office @ 301-333-1001 to obtain information regarding the return to Public School).  When you come in to register, you will be asked to complete the necessary paperwork.  Your child should be able to begin the following day.

 

 

The following information MUST be provided by you at the time of registration:

 

 

·                     Proof of Residence – settlement papers (with all signatures), current month’s mortgage statement, current rental or lease agreement (with all signatures), deed of property (with street address clearly stated and all signatures), or current tax assessment bill (the easiest for you and us, if you own your home and your name is on it). (Utility bills, mail, and driver’s licenses are not acceptable).                                                          

 

·                 Immunization Records – up-to-date, including proof of 2nd MMR, the Hep B series and 2-varicella vaccines or proof/date (from the doctor) of having had chickenpox  (also, within 6 months of first entry into a MD school, a physical is required)

 

·                 Birth Certificate original with parent’s names; only Natural Parent; or guardian in possession of legal guardianship documents, may enroll a child.

 

·                 Report Card – most recent

 

·                 Transcripts

         

·                 Home Schooled Students – your “return letter” from the Home Instruction Office is required for registration (please call 301-333-1001 before you come to see us).
