                Offering an additional elective:
                       
Economic Issues (290300)    11th -12th grade
                                This semester course acquaints students with some major economic                                            problems facing Americans.  Students will become aware of the decision-                                    making processes in today's mixed economy.  Attention will be focused on                                    such goals as wise use of resources, price stability, unemployment, and                                         protection of the consumer.
