A Guest Liaison must be calmly professional and not aggressively fawning.

Before the convention, the Liaison and the Guest Wrangler will do all the communication between the convention and Mr. and Mrs. Robinson. The Liaison will be the answer person who will have, or be able to get, all the information about their preferences, participation plans, and what we are providing them.
- answering their questions.
- collecting all the info we need to provide them with travel, lodging, and amenities, and getting that to the Guest Wrangler, Molly de Blanc, who will arrange travel.
- planning their participation at Penguicon, with the Literary Track Head Courtney Galloway, Music Track Head Sarah Smith, and other members of the programming team.

During the weekend, a Guest of Honor Liaison should not plan to see very much of the convention, as they are intended to wait on the needs of their Guest and the Guest's companion.
- picking them up from, and dropping them off at, the airport. (Within hotel shuttle distance of the convention, so this is easy.)
- making sure they get sufficient food and sleep.
- running interference on anyone who would disturb them when they don't wish to be disturbed.
- making sure they attend events on which they are scheduled.
- taking them out to eat.
