RPSEA is planning to be a respected and innovative institution instrumental in meeting U.S. needs for technology to commercially develop the country's Ultra-Deepwater and Unconventional Natural Gas and Other Petroleum Resources and in a safe and environmentally sensitive manner.
 
RPSEA will be a success if (a) meaningful projects are funded in a timely manner, (b) those projects result in demonstrated increases in our O&G resources, and (c) if political issues do not dilute its effectiveness. Collaboration is expected to result in  a significant research and development portfolio directed at Onshore Unconventional Natural Gas and Ultra-Deepwater resources using business oriented best practices.
