ConocoPhillips has reviewed the prospective project goals of the new GPRI joint venture with
INTECSEA (formerly INTEC Engineering) and Phage Biocontrol, LLC, and is supporting the development of a proof of concept study to demonstrate the effectiveness of bacteriophage inoculants to control bacterial outbreaks and reduce corrosion, reservoir souring, and the microbial degradation and fouling of drilling fluids.
